All libraries on the UNB Fredericton Campus are closed today, January 19, due to weather conditions. The Hans W. Klohn Commons (UNB Saint John) will remain open.
Due to weather forecast and road conditions, Fredericton campus libraries will close at 5:00 PM today, Feb. 7, 2020. The Hans W. Klohn Commons in Saint John remains closed for the day.
Due to poor weather conditions, UNB Libraries on the Fredericton campus will close today at 4:30 PM, Thursday 27 February. We will resume normal operating hours on Friday morning.
Due to a planned power outage, access to the library website, electronic resources, document delivery, reserves, and other online library services will be affected Friday (beginning at 8:00 PM) and Saturday, February 28 and 29. The Harriet Irving Library will be closed Saturday, February 29.
All UNB Libraries in Fredericton and Saint John will close close early tonight, Monday, March 16. Science & Forestry and Engineering Libraries close at 5:00 PM, and the Harriet Irving Library and HWK Commons (Saint John) will close at 7:00 PM.
To allow maintenance to our IT infrastructure, UNB Libraries websites (including the main library website, proxy server, access to electronic resources, reserves, and other online services) will be offline on Tuesday morning, April 28, beginning at 7:00 AM. We hope to have access to all services restored before noon.

COVID developments at UNB Fredericton

The Harriet Irving Library, IUC Library, and Head Hall Library (Fredericton) and the Hans W. Klohn Commons Library (Saint John) will open on Monday, January 20th at 12pm (noon) to allow for the snow clearing required after the snow storm.
UNB Libraries are closed on both campus and will be providing virtual services only on Friday, February 4th . We expect to be operating normally on Saturday.
UNBF Libraries open at usual, but due to the protest planned in downtown Fredericton, please check our hours of service through the weekend for potential disruptions.
