"Mount Allison University's Independent Student Newspaper since 1872." Last issue March 6, 2020. Changed from a monthly publication to a weekly publication in 1922; alternate title: "Argosy Weekly" and "Tri-Annual Argosy." In 1914, member of the Euhetorian and Eclective societies decided to merge "The Argosy" and "Allisonia," keeping the Argosy name. The "Argosy" became the first independent student newspaper in the Atlantic Provinces in 1976. "The Anarchy" published annually (sometimes biannually) as the "Argosy's" satirical alter ego.
